The Urgent Need to Invest in Our Child Care Workforce

The Democratic Women’s Caucus hosted a roundtable on May 18, 2021 on the urgent need to invest in our child care workforce. This roundtable examined the challenges facing our child care workforce, such as the poverty wages made by early educators, especially women of color, the importance of training, support, and career advancement opportunities, and the need for investments in upgrading and maintaining child care facilities.
