Readout from Kabul: Afghan Women Leading for Peace

The Democratic Women’s Caucus hosted a roundtable on May 28, 2021 with Afghan women leaders on their recommendations for moving towards a lasting peace. The recommendations were drafted by 100 women delegates from across Afghanistan during workshops held in Kabul after negotiations broke down following the announcement of the United States’ withdrawal from Afghanistan.
